This is a quote from the 1980’s horror film Motel Hell. The quote has been hand punched and embroidered onto pig skin leather. The piece has been hand painted and finished to mimic the look and feel of human flesh. The leather has then been affixed to a floral ceramic plate along with a bloodied set of silverware. The piece has been spattered with a custom blood varnish designed to look like wet blood.
The plate measures 9.75 inches by 7.25 inches by 1 inch. The leather piece is an irregular 3 inches by 5 inches. The knife is 8.5 inches, the fork 7.75 inches both of which are firmly affixed to the plate. The piece is designed to be hung on a wall with a plate hanger. The plate hanger is included.
